Export to Excel
Most people that work with data, prefer to do so with Microsoft Excel. BAPLIE Viewer Online allows you to export BAPLIE container data into an Excel spreadsheet to review and analyze in any way you like. Applying filters to columns, and changing the attributes that are visible on screen allows you to focus on criteria you are interested in, and is also reflected in the export process.
Data Correction
Our analysis of BAPLIE data shows that 95% of BAPLIE EDI files have at least one container with incorrect data. Our software enables users to correct these mistakes in a user friendly way, without needing any training on the EDIFACT EDI format.
BAPLIE Version Conversion
Not everyone in shipping can afford to run the latest and greatest technology solutions, and so many of the customers we work with have older systems that cannot process the latest BAPLIE versions. BAPLIE Viewer Online has functions to read and convert to any version of BAPLIE that you need. If you need to convert BAPLIE 2.2 into a 1.5 file, it takes 3 clicks of the mouse!
Convert to MOVINS
Do you work with feeder vessels that can only provide you with their stowage in Excel or BAPLIE format? We have you covered. Simply upload either format to BAPLIE Viewer Online, and select the option to Convert to MOVINS. Select your UNLOC code from the dropdown list, and we generate a MOVINS file that can be used to plan the stowage of your main vessel in your Terminal Operating System.
Create PDF Bay Plans
People need to see the stowage of a ship in various ways. Colored by POD, or by Hazardous content or by any other attribute and printed to a PDF file is a simple process from our 2D Bayview function. Select Mini View to show multiple bays on a page, or Single Bay to show one bay per page. Specify which attributes you want to show and click create. It really is that simple.
Remap Values
Although SMDG EDIFACT EDI has standardized the format of BAPLIE data, some people still call things differently. Some customers use different codes for ports, or different codes for container ISO that you need to translate into different values. Rather than editing one record at a time, use our Remap Values function to convert all relevant data in one go. You can convert inbound files into your own values, or outbound files with your values into values used by your customers.
